End Of The Day

“Do you need a hand?”
It has been a reckless night for me. Got fired from my job because I didn't give in to my boss's sexual desires, had an encounter with my Ex, and now this bloody flat tire.
It's been raining since I left the office, agitated. I am soaked to bones, trying to figure out how to do and what to do.
I had never felt the need of learning to change a flat, always had a driver to do that, whenever needed.
I am really scared. It's raining buckets and there's no sign of any shop or house as far as I can see. No sign of life, as far as I can see. About 20 minutes have passed, and no car or vehicle has passed me yet.
It's a perfect nightmare for any girl.
“Do you need any help ma'am?”
He repeated his question, while I stared at him in disbelief. He stands in front of me, staring like a stranger without any readable expression of him that I can remember.
He was him. The guy who was once my reason to smile. The one who made my life beautiful and worthy enough to live. My first Love. No, he was more than that. And yet, after all, that happened between us; today, on this terrible night, of all the people in the world, he is here.
I stand up and walk backward steadily, with my eyes fixed on his face.
He went around and grabbed the jack from my trunk, from somewhere that I couldn't even imagine searching.
'Men know things.' I thought.
“So, How is your life?”
He spoke softly, in that lovely voice, pulling me out of my thoughts.
“Fine.” I lied.
“So it seems.” he chuckled.
“What?”
“Nothing..”
“Speak up.”
“You have always been a terrible liar.”
I remained silent. He was right. I can't lie, without showing it on my face. And he, always had expertise in finding my lies.
"How did you find me here?"
"I was stalking you.", he laughed.
I abruptly grew red.
"You were always like that."
“You don't know anything about me.” I blurted out angrily.
“I do,” he spoke softly.
“Oh really? What do you know?” I demanded.
“That is a deep corner of your heart, there is still a lot of love for me....”
His words hit my heart like a toxic spear. A hefty blow and venom started spreading in my body.
My mind started racing, trying to take in what he just said. Adrenaline, pheromones, and numerous hormones seem to concentrate my blood.
“It's not true. Bullshit.“ I lied, the same predictable way.
He opened his mouth to say something and then decided against it.
He finished changing the tire and confronted me. I tried to resist the temptation to look into his eyes. I failed.
“I know, I messed up. I was a fool. I won't lie to you. I accept that I was a jerk. I held you for every wrong in my life. But, the truth is, I have never stopped loving you. Day and night, I repent and think of ways to bring you back. My life is hell from the day you left me. And see, How fortune has favored us today. Destiny and life is giving us a second chance.”
Words seem to be stuck in my throat, and tears started oozing out from my eyes. I started sobbing bitterly.
“Please baby, no tears. I love you. I really do.” He said, taking my face in his hands.
“I don't love you.” I lied, making myself fall in his arms.
“I can prove this wrong.” He said softly, in my ear.
He started pulling me away from him. I started resisting. It was so much comforting and warm near him, in his arms. I felt this feeling after so long. I was craving for it. I was feeling complete again.
“See, I told you, I could prove you wrong.” he pulled me more closely.
“I have never felt happier when proved wrong.”
“I will love you, Always.”
“I know, I have always known.”

The Blue Beast

Walking down the narrow alley, he had millions of interrogative thoughts in his mind.
‘Is it even possible?’
‘Was he going to be normal again?’
‘Is she going to accept me.’

He was more of running now; physically as well as mentally. He stopped near a old graveyard and removed his surgical gloves. His hands were still blue, actually bluer. The chemical seemed to dilute and change his blood into something else.
His sense and reflex had been increasing since the time that man bit him and injected something in his body via his neck. He has actually bitten him, like a freaking zombie.
His hands were blue and cold, and this was all over his neck too. He was going blue.
‘You seem to be from Pandora.’ He thought she would have trolled him with Avataar and laughed.
But only if he could get to her.

Something was going inside him. A fire, a freaking desire. He was hungry. He wanted to eat something. Meat. No, human meat.

He smelt and found his smelling power tremendously increased. He could catch a human odour almost instantly.
He started running in that direction. He had reached a house by then. Suddenly, for a fraction of second, he realised it was her house.
But soon te beast inside overpowered and he ran inside to fetch his dinner. The door was open, as usual.
She was sleeping in her couch. He could hear that snore from a mile away due to his increased sensing powers.

Hastily, he jumped towards her with his fangs dug out and blood in his eyes.

He stopped an inch away from her.
He stopped himself. The beast inside him wanted her, but he was revolting against him. He bit his hand as his hand tried to catch her throat. Blue blood spilled from his hand and fell on the carpet. The carpet started burning, as if an acid has fell on it. His blood was toxic.
He moved away from her, out of the house. He promised himself, to never come back here. He knew if he will, the human inside him won't be able to control the beast.
He had to find answers, he thought.
But first, he had to eat something...

'Someone', the beast corrected him.
