The Alchemist

"So, Finally you got time for your wife." spoke she, while opening the front gate for me.
And me, well, what could one say, when world's most beautiful girl is opening the door for you?
"Err...Emergency case baby. Got late." I managed to say, under my breath.
"Yes yes, there come my baby's excuses." she planted a kiss on my temple.
I smiled and handed over an envelope to her, kissing her forhead.
She took it and placed it on the table and came to help me remove my white coat.
"Shona, you know you look ravishing in your white coat and this stetho around your neck."
"You helped me earn it baby." I took her in my arms.
"Someone is in the mood today." she played, crossing her arms around my neck.
"Maybe." I grinned.
"But baby, all day I crave for you. Even at my workplace, I can't help but miss you." she made a baby face.
"I know my wife, but you know na, hospital duties."
"I know baby." she said, sounding too low, and hiding her face in my arms.
"Sweetheart?" I whispered.
"Umm?" she murmured.
"The Envelope" I spoke softly, caressing her hair.
" Oh yeah! I almost forgot, whats in this baby?" she jumped up and tore off the paper envelope.
I moved to the cupboard, smiling, coz I knew what was going to happen next.
"Ohh My God!" she screamed.
I chuckled.
"Baby! Venicceeeee! Italy!!"
She shouted, holding the airlines ticket in her hands, jumping like a small kid.
"Yesh, Want to heal your craving."
"I loooveeee youuuu baby!" she caught me and gave me a really tight hug.
"I loveee youu tooo wife." I chuckled.
"Baby, but your hospital....."
"Shhhhhhh..." I stopped her by putting my finger on her soft lips.
She closed her eyes. I brought her closer and kissed her. A deep passionate kiss on her lips.
"Hospital, patients, can be handled by other docs for sometime baby. And morever...."
"Morever....??" she smiled.
"I have to thank my Alchemist every now and then in someway." I smiled and kissed her again.
And this time the kiss was for incredibly long interval.

Silence..

"I wish I had valued him more than a forsaken lover."she said, hugging his tombstone tightly. Its the third day, since the whole world has crashed down for her. And since that armadegon, she had spent every hour with his stone, right next to jis grave. All the time, she has been whispering sorrys and I love yous to him. "Baby, no na, wake up now, how can you sleep for three days?" she sobbed, "Baby please na, Ok, I promise I won't stop you from kissing me. You can do it any time. Please jaan." Tears rolled down her eyes. Even tears seemed to have dried up from excess weeping. But her heart didn't stop pouring out. "Please baby, Don't you miss me?" she said wiping her tears, "You know the Doc was saying, they can't help you. Of course they can't. Only I can. Now will you come out baby or should I come in? I love you nanu. Please aa jao na mere pass. Baby please? Nanu miss you na. Come to your stupid girl na. Please. Please. Please." She fals on his grave nd starts to sob again. She misses him. And so does he.

Love in Shadows

"Smoke seemed to fill my room in the darkest hour. But there was no fire. It was my heart burning I guess. It was jealous. Jealous of the bond between night and dark. Jealous of bond between moon and stars. Jealous of bond between love and warmth. Our warmth. I bet she remembers our warmth too. I know she can't sleep at the midnight hour. I knw her hands search for me when she is asleep.I know she feels the smoke too. At midights, when moon is up bright, I endevour her memories. I enjoy memories of her touching me. Carresing my face. I know she feels the same. Her hands ache. Her hands want to feel me again. My throat goes dry. Drier and Drier, as each moment passes. The night seems long, it seems to never end. Unlike the days when she was by my side, when every hour flew like a second, time seems to be at a halt. It seems Time too pities me and tries to stop by and give me company. I bet Time stopd by her too. I know she misses me. I know she still Loves me. I know she will come back."
