Tiny water droplets ran down the icy cold window pane, as he stared through the same towards some entity in the vast unknown.
She had tried a lot to convince him. But it was far worse than something that could be explained. Exhausted, by continuous weeping and sobbing, she lay on the floor, tugging on his pair of jeans. Her voice was as sore as it could be, and her hands had given up pleading him.
But he was the same, as adamant and silent as he was since the disaster started. She was still tugging by him, trying to convince him that it wasn't her fault. Secretly he knew it wasn't her fault. But he wasn't in a condition to accept that fact. He was broken, so was she. He was hurt deep to the core of his heart; the heart that belonged to her, the heart that she took care of as if it was her most beloved possession of all.
She was his Angel. The sole support he had in his uphill journey towards success. He was her knight in shining armour. They were perfect example of a lovestruck couple.
But now, everything seemed to have taken a freaky turn and the magical couple seemed to be broken apart by some sort of black magic.
"Enough!" He suddenly spoke out.
She looked at him, surprised, unsure of what he meant.
"Baby please let's stop this freaky game. I can't see you like this anymore." He spoke almost in tears.
She jumped up, magically regaining her lost strength.
"Baby...Shhh...why are you crying? It was just a game!" She kissed him, and then again and again.
"You said you wanted to know how it feels when couples fight. But it was one hell of a torture to me." He said as he took her in his arms.
She felt as if whole world was right at her feet at that moment. It was one of the most comfy an most cozy hugs that they ever shared. Love flourished with the wind.
"Baby, if you ever come across such stupid idea again, I will..." He spoke as they lay on the couch, with her head on his chest. She caught him mid sentence and took his lips into her soft custody. A quick peck on their lips and everything seemed fine.
The couple who never fought. ☻
Couple that never fought? I don't know. I haven't seen one yet. But I know one thing for sure. Every love story doesn't need a organic villain. Sometimes, actually most of the times a jerk named 'Misunderstanding' and a crook named 'Ego' are enough.
But you know what? When trust factor acts as a catalyst, love tends to proceed towards infinity. Right? 😊😊
